Project:                 Bunnings Distribution Centre, Dandenong

Client:                   Vaughan Constructions

Consultant:           Wayne Spencer & Partners

Bunnings is Australia’s most recognised hardware store, and its continual growth saw the addition of a brand new Distribution Centre in Dandenong, consisting of more than 700 tonnes of steel and 46,000 m of purlins and girts within its vast area of 45,000m².The construction also included extensive surrounding canopies and office facilities.

The shear size of this project gave PacifiCO Structural Steel the early opportunity to review the design and implement agreed engineering solutions to fast track this project. It also gave us the facility to strategise the erection process, which involved regular site visits and liaising with our subcontractors daily. Due to PacifiCO’s heavy involvement we were able to complete our works 4 weeks ahead of schedule, whilst still maintaining a safe and secure work front, with no effect to time or budget.
