PacifiCO Structural Steel was founded in 2011 by Ovi Constantin. Born in Romania, Ovi migrated to Australia as a young engineer in 1999. Ovi has 25 years’ experience working in Australia and internationally as a professional engineer and business leader in the design, civil infrastructure, petro-chemical and building sectors. With an excellent attention to detail, dedicated and enthusiastic attitude and a relentless desire to succeed, Ovi started PacifiCO with a vision to challenge the traditional steel fabrication methods by implementing automation systems, robotic solutions, cutting edge technology, keeping PacifiCO ahead of the steel manufacturing curve.

Ovi studied civil and structural engineering in Romania and UK, holds a Master of Engineering degree and a Diploma of Project Management from RMIT in Melbourne.

We understand the impact construction can have on our natural ecologies and we are constantly seeking ways to minimise our impact and restore the natural environment around our projects and operations. We have been members of the Australian Steel Institute Environmental Sustainability Chapter since 2016 and we reached the GOLD ESC Band in 2018.
